Iran Human Rights - February 18, IHR Urges International Community to Stop the Executions

HRANA News Agency –  Iranian regime executed 10 prisoners within last two days. Three of them were publicly.

Iran Human Rights - February 13: One prisoner was publicly hanged in Tehran today. According to the state run Iranian news agency Fars the man was convicted of murdering two girls in 2005. The public execution was carried out early this morning at "Madani Street" east of Tehran.

 HRANA News Agency – On Sunday February 3rd of 2013 the activist Yasan Mosavi has been arrested and till now he has not contacted his family.

Iran Human Rights -  February 6: Three prisoners were hanged in the prison of Isfahan reported the Iranian state media today.

Iran Human Rights -  February 4: According to reports from reliable sources, Iranian authorities are executing in increasing numbers in Rajai Shahr Prison, west of Tehran.

HRANA News Agency – On Saturday, February 2nd of 2013 an Afghan man hanged in Khourin prison of Varamin.

Iran Human Rights - February 3: According to reports from reliable sources in Iran, as many as 400 prisoners may have been executed in Vakilabad Prison, Mashhad. According to the sources, there have been secret executions of prisoners taking place every Wednesday and Sunday, and sometimes up to three times a week. No detailed information is available on the amount of prisoners executed, but at least on one occasion the number of executions were as high as 50 people. Sources say that up to 400 prisoners may have been executed in the past four or five months.
