AFSHIN KARAMPOUR'S MEDICAL CARE ALSO UNFINISHED, TRANSFER OF THREE DERVISHES' RIGHTS ACTIVISTS TO PR - Afshin Karampour, also, has been returned to the jail following the command of the prosecutor of Tehran; so, the trend of his medical care has been incomplete. Thus, less than one week three jailed activists of dervishes' rights without any medical discharges have been sent back to prison, respectively.



The vascular surgery of Sina hospital in his latest report on this jailed dervish had emphasized to continue the medical treatments to follow up as well as to control the disease, and also avoid stress to prevent from worsening his condition.
The mentioned Gonabadi dervish, who has been sentenced to more than ten years in jail, is now imprisoned in ward 4 in public cell in Evin.



Majzooban - Mostafa Daneshjou, the jailed Dervish, lawyer and human rights activist of Gonabadi Dervishes, with the order of prosecutor has been returned to prison, despite poor health and without medical discharge by the respective doctors.
According to a report by Majzooban Noor website, Mostafa Daneshjou, the imprisoned dervish and human rights activist of Gonabadi Dervishes, based on the latest medical reports about 50 percent of his lungs stopped working, has been returned to the jail by the order of the prosecutor of Tehran without doctors' consent to discharge him.
The report adds that Mostafa Daneshjou was returned to the jail on Wednesday, while on the same day, the deputy prosecutor of Tehran had shown the permit of the transfer of the mentioned prisoner to the Tehran Heart Center to his family. Mr. Daneshjou who had been waiting for the permit to go to the Tehran Heart Center, was supposed to spend a period of the cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation in that center.
This human rights activist of Gonabadi Dervishes who has been sentenced to seven and half years, despite the security allegations, is now imprisoned in ward 8 with non-political prisoners in the public cell.

Bahai Home and Workplace Raided in Shiraz

HRANA News Agency – On January 19, agents from the Ministry of Intelligence raided the workplace and then the home of Mr. Hasan Salehi in Shiraz.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), they had a search warrant for both properties. The officers said that he was suspected of propaganda against the regime and membership of an illegal organisation.

When Mr. Salehi’s family protested the seizure of some Bahai materials, the officers said they were required to collect anything relating to Bahai beliefs, because it was a baseless sect, and anything relating to any family member.

In the end, the agents seized a large number of books, pamphlets, photographs and other religious materials, and a desktop computer, from the house.

At Mr. Salehi’s workplace they seized accounting, tax and administrative records and computers and even some letters of appreciation from customers.

An Imprisoned Sufi Transferred to Solitary Confinement

HRANA News Agency – Amir Rajabi, Sufi prisoner in the central prison of Zahedan, since several days ago has been transferred to solitary confinement, because he has refused to shave his mustache and has gone on hunger strike.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Amir Rajabi, a Sufi from Kermanshah, who has been detained for ordinary crimes and is held in central prison of Zahedan, has been transferred to quarantine of this prison since several days ago, because he has refused the prison authorities’ order to shave his mustache and has gone on hunger strike.

He used to be held in “Open Prison” but because of drug related charges, has been sentenced to imprisonment. (Open Prison, is a ward that prisoners work there and they get long time leaves for the work that they do.)

One of his relatives told HRANA’s reporter: “The mustache is very important to us Sufies ( Ahle Hagh). It is our religion. We, really, cannot ignore it. This is a part of our principles and Amir would rather die on hunger strike but not shave his mustaches. ”

However, this prisoner is suffering from dental problems and lung failure and this situation is dangerous for him.

Ebrahim Firoozi still Imprisoned although his Sentence is Finished

HRANA News Agency – Ebrahim Firoozi, Christian convert, who has been imprisoned since 17 months ago, is still waiting for the judge Moghiseh’s decision, although his sentence ended on 13th January.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Ebrahim Firoozi, Christian convert, who was arrested last time on 25th August 2013, formerly was sentenced by the Revolutionary Court in Robatkarim to 1 year imprisonment and 2 years exile to Sarbaz Town.

This court verdict was issued based on his previous arrests and by considering detention days and prison condition and has been finished on 13th January.

This is while, in branch 28 of the Revolutionary Court, presided by Judge Moghiseh, a new case has been opened with charge of acting against the national security and propaganda against the regime.

One of the close relatives of Ebrahim Firoozi told HRANA’s reporter, “Judge Moghiseh has issued 200 million Tomans bail for this case, but, when the family of Ebrahim Firoozi wanted to pay that, they did not accept it.” The source also added: “Ebrahim Firoozi had a trial in January last year [2014], and he did not accept the charges. Judge Moghiseh told him; “as you deny the charges, you have to wait until your interrogator is present in your trial at the court.” A year has passed since that time but still he has not has a trial.”

Ebrahim Firoozi is now held in the ward 10 of Rajai Shahr Prison along with other Christian convert, Pastor Farshid Fathi.

Several Bahais Arrested in Abadeh

HRANA News Agency – On December 29, 2014, agents from the Ministry of Intelligence arrested Farshid Rastegar and a number of Bahai students who had gathered in his home in Abadeh, a town approximately halfway between Isfahan and Shiraz.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), ss in other recent cases, the agents posed as postmen to gain entry to the house, and they did not have a search warrant or arrest warrants.

They searched the house, and arrested Mr. Rastegar and the others present, who were all students of the Bahai Open University (BIHE). Mr. Rastegar has been helping students in the Abadeh area who are studying at the Bahai Open University, an institution designed to offer tertiary courses in certain subject to students who are excluded from licenced universities in Iran because of their religious beliefs.

The youth who were arrested on December 29 were released next day, but Mr. Rastegar was held for two days, and was questioned mainly about the Bahai Open University.

Abadeh was the scene of large-scale raids on Bahai homes, and threats to the safety of Bahais.
